The service

MarksCalc provides free client-side calculators and editorial articles about academic grading in India. It is an independent site and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any university, examination board or government body named on it.

Accuracy

Conversion formulas are conventions published by individual institutions and they change. Results produced here are estimates. Where a formula has been checked against an issuing document, the page links that document and the date it was read; where it has not, the page says so. Verify any figure against your own examination ordinance before submitting it anywhere official.

Acceptable use

You may use the calculators freely, including for coursework and applications. You may not scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for other users, republish its editorial content as your own, or present its output as an official university record.

Intellectual property

The editorial content, layout and code of this site are owned by its operator. University names and formulas are the property of the respective institutions and are referenced descriptively.

Liability

The site is provided as is, without warranty. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on a figure produced by these calculators, including any consequence of submitting an incorrect percentage on an application.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
